He is also a Part-time Professor at VID University College, Bergen, Norway.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has had a career in nursing working as a Registered Nurse primarily within acute hospital care. His interest in the spiritual dimension developed alongside a realisation that this aspect of care was neglected and forgotten by some healthcare professionals. He has published several books and many articles addressing different aspects of the spiritual dimension such as educational issues, and spiritual assessment. He completed his Doctoral studies at Leeds Metropolitan University in May 2005 researching\u202f<em>\u2018The meaning of spirituality and spiritual care: An investigation of healthcare professionals, patients and public\u2019s perceptions\u2019<\/em>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prior to taking up post at Staffordshire University he worked as a Senior Lecturer in Nursing at the University of Hull where he was also instrumental in creating with colleagues the Centre for Spirituality Studies of which he was the director. In 2010, he&nbsp;lead&nbsp;the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) programme of work addressing spirituality and spiritual care in nursing.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He is a founding and executive member of the British Association for The Study of Spirituality (BASS) and a Principal Fellow of The Higher Education Academy (PFHEA). In 2012, he was made a Fellow of the Royal College of Nursing (FRCN) for his unique contribution to nursing in the areas of spirituality and dignity.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kath Morris&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:15% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"http:\/\/revamp.hfac.keele.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/Kath-Morris-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Image of Kath Morris\" class=\"wp-image-173 size-full\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p><strong>BA (Hons), (Social Studies); MA, (Criminology); Certificate of Qualification in Social Work; Diploma in Management&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kath has worked a sessional social work lecturer, mentor and consultant for ten years.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Prior to this she worked for 26 years in the UK&nbsp;probation service; she was a chief officer for 10 years, specialising in the multi agency management of high risk and dangerous offenders and contributing to the development of national public protection policy.&nbsp; She is a survivor of domestic abuse and has written a book about her experiences: \u2018The Hall of Mirrors; How to Change Life Patterns and Avoid Toxic Relationships\u2019 (published in the name of Kath Twigg).&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sarah Page&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Sarah is a Senior Lecturer is Sociology &amp; Criminology in the School of Law, Policing and Forensics at Staffordshire University.&nbsp; She is also the Co-Director of the Staffordshire Crime &amp; Society Research Group.&nbsp; Prior to working at the University Sarah was the Partnership Working Manager for a Health Action Zone within the NHS.&nbsp; She specialises in tackling poverty and inequality issues, including addressing interpersonal violence.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Professor Liz&nbsp;Boath&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:15% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"558\" height=\"550\" src=\"http:\/\/revamp.hfac.keele.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/image-16-e1636489289756.jpeg\" alt=\"Image of Liz Boath\" class=\"wp-image-449 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/revamp.hfac.keele.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/image-16-e1636489289756.jpeg 558w, https:\/\/revamp.hfac.keele.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/image-16-e1636489289756-300x296.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/revamp.hfac.keele.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/image-16-e1636489289756-50x50.jpeg 50w, https:\/\/revamp.hfac.keele.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/image-16-e1636489289756-80x80.jpeg 80w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 558px) 100vw, 558px\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p><strong>Professor of Health and Wellbeing, PhD<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Professor Liz&nbsp;Boath&nbsp;is Professor of Health and Wellbeing at Staffordshire University in the UK.&nbsp; Liz has almost three decades experience of Health and Social Care Education. She obtained her PhD in 1999 on the cost and effectiveness of services for postnatal depression. Liz is a National Teaching Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, an award that was given in recognition of her unique contribution to service user and carer involvement in education.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dr.&nbsp;Adam J. Boughey<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:15% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"545\" height=\"1024\" src=\"http:\/\/revamp.hfac.keele.ac.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/image-11-545x1024.png\" alt=\"Image of Adam J. Boughey\" class=\"wp-image-450 size-full\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p><strong>DHealthPsy,&nbsp;CPsychol,&nbsp;MBPsS, RN&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adam currently works full-time as a Lecturer in Adult Nursing and Post-Doctoral Researcher at Staffordshire University, UK.&nbsp; Between 2013-2018, Adam worked as a Research Associate on a variety of studies and service evaluations, and from 2017-2019 as a Project Manager on an Erasmus+ multinational project (EPICC,&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.epicc-network.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">www.epicc-network.org<\/a>).&nbsp; Having originally trained as a Registered Adult Nurse in 2004 at Keele University, and worked in both primary (community) and secondary (acute) care, Adam attended Staffordshire University to retrain in psychology (2008-2011) and subsequently health psychology (2011-2019).&nbsp; In addition to his nursing qualification, Adam gained a first-class BSc (Hons) in Psychology, followed by distinction for his MSc in Health Psychology.&nbsp; His health psychology training was completed when he passed his viva voce examination for his Professional Doctorate in Health Psychology (DHealthPsy) in May 2019.&nbsp; Since then, Adam has maintained his Membership of the British Psychological Society (BPS) (MBPsS), registration as an Adult Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), and gained registration as a Chartered Psychologist (CPsychol) with the BPS.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Staffordshire University Staffordshire University has a long history of providing high quality, progressive higher education for people across Staffordshire, the Midlands, the UK, and the rest of the world.
