Her main research interests are Global Public Mental Health, especially war and genocide and mental health and psychopathology, violence and mental health, traumatic life events and mental health, and\u00a0lifecourse\u00a0epidemiology. Recently, she is working on resilience and well-being in marginalized groups.\u00a0Additionally, she is president of the Section on \u201cPublic Mental Health\u201d of the \u201cEuropean Association of Mental Health\u201d (EUPHA). Currently, she is involved in several multicentre research-projects investigating mental health and resilience.
